Melissa,
I pray that all goes well for you and in deed, the buyer who is looking at the property will find it just what they need. I don't have any livestock or it would be great fun to bring it down for your live nativity.
Blessings on your work and witness.

Dear Friends at Concordia, With tears of joys and a heart full of thanksgiving, I watched the video of the great miracle God is and will continue to work as you work with joy and faith in what He can do! I must admit, when I first began praying, I had to ask the Lord for faith to affirm my prayers on your behalf... He has done that .... and more! I am so in awe of this mission being planted and I am so thankful for the faithfulness of your people. God can and does accomplish vastly more than we could ever ask of Him. Some of my best memories of teaching are the trust that you placed in me in 1972... You see, this has been my prayer all along for you and yours... I felt so crushed when our 'junior high' closed, but how gracious our Lord is and how mindful we must be in asking Him as dear children ask Abba Father anything! Blessings and Thanksgiving... Christ First in All Things! Pam (Scmidt) Wehking

God IS good...all the time! How wonderful to receive Vi Perrotti's request for fervent prayer for this great endeavor for God and by God! Concordia will always hold a special place in my heart as my first call into ministry and all of the special people who not only embraced me, trusted me with their children, but supported me with prayer and financial offerings. Truly, those were some of the best days of my life and for that I will always be thankful. I am so blessed to still be in contact with some special people--1972 was a long time ago! Although, currently we are living in the St. Paul,MN area, we are members of a very wonderful church@ Woodbury Lutheran, with growth explosion and God's power running strong. I continue to lift up prayers of thanksgiving and continued praise for you and yours and eagerly look forward to our return to San Diego. Until then, we join our hearts with yours in continued prayer. Christ First In All Things, Pam

Praise God for His goodness and for giving you all the right tools and workers to complete this task for Him. He will see you through, and even if there are a few snafues, His plans will be accomplished.

Thanks for your determination on this project. God bless...

This morning, July 9, the playground had several large piles of rich, dark brown looking dirt dumped in it. Perhaps they are getting ready to put down the playground base???

The workers were taking a break in the shade of the building along the street when I got there to prayer walk. It was kind of neat to look into their faces and say a quick hello. (They looked up and smiled and said hello back.) Then I had a mental picture as I prayed for them.

Well, I guess God has to allow us a few bumps in the road so we don't go on thinking this mission launch is just one miracle after another. AND you, Mary, Pastor and others get a little reprieve of an extra week. You've all been under so much pressure! Perhaps you can breathe a bit now. But one thing I'm sure of: we're all still praying, God's still listening, and He still performs miracles.
