Just a few minutes ago we signed a lease for the Oxford property. It will be a long term lease with an option to purchase. The property will serve as the main headquarters for the Head Start program so there were be offices and a Head Start program on site. We know they will be very happy here and we are delighted.
We are grateful and invite you to thank the Lord together with all of us! He is so good to us.
Can you believe we are already talking about our one year anniversary in August and planning some special events for then?
One in the works (for which we would appreciate your prayers) is an art gallery in the double wide hallways. Not only will this be a place for the art of the children to be highlighted (as we are an arts and music emphasis preschool) but we can also host community and individual art showings and expose our children and our community to art produced in the South Bay and even elsewhere! We are excited to begin this process since our decor has been rather stark awaiting this project. We are planning on inaugurating it for our one year anniversary.

Great news, Melissa! I love the idea about the room/halls to display art. What an excellent way to reach out to the community and to educate the children (and adults!).
