Prayer for Preschool Director Candidate

Dear Friends,
Thank you because we know so many of you have been dedicated in the task (and privilege) of praying for this new mission. This is an amazing new ministry that will bring Jesus to a new community longing to experience HOME and the family of faith that Concordia Lutheran Church offers.  We will begin serving our community by establishing a demonstration school which in additional to a solid academic Lutheran education, will focus on music and the arts in this new and diverse border community.  This is a unique opportunity to develop the idea of a “magnet school” within the Lutheran School context! We begin by building a preschool which is one of the primary needs of this new community.
 
We need your help.  Do you know a Preschool Director who has  successfully begun a new preschool? Or, can you ask among your colleagues and friends to see if someone you know knows of such a person?
 
If God allows us to open this new preschool by the border as early as next fall (yes, fall of 2009!) we need to launch large and to do this, we need an experienced lead person…a Preschool Director who has tackled the task of start up before. Start ups take some unique gifts and talents. We know it will take someone who is passionate about the mission and entrepeneurial on the organizational/business side. Maybe you know of the right person who could take this as a missionary assignment and could be released from their current position for 18 months to launch and mentor a director from our local ministry.  What an awesome opportunity for the right LCMS person.  This is a dream missionary assignment to sunny southern California to begin a new mission to a new and highly diverse community. This person does NOT need to be bilingual.
 
Please think, ask your circle of friends, pray, think some more, ask a different circle of friends…….HELP!  We  believe the candidate that God has picked out for this task will be found through those friends and prayer partners who have been connected with this new mission launch of Concordia Lutheran Church, Chula Vista,  Help us pray about this position.
